Je suis Amira depuis de nombreuses années et je ne m'en lasse pas. O mio Babbino, Avé Maria et Nessum Dorma en 2013 alors qu'elle n'avait pas encore 10 ans, c'est incroyable d'avoir un tel talent à son âge. Les 20 ans approchent, le 27 mars prochain sauf erreur de ma part.

She is absolutely great , many of her songs are mixed classic a Opera . Play they song before this when she was still 9 yrs old Also the sound of music we can understander her , she als does a duet 2 opersing same time I’ve never heard of that be for I’m please S opera singers duet it was perfect that you well come and as long as you play Amerea we will tune into your channel Regards Betty

Buenos días, conocí a Amira hace años, en un concurso de talentos, preciosa voz, los jueces se rieron de su espontaneidad, pero cuando empezó a cantar... uno dijo que tenía un alma antigua, puede que de ahí su vibrato, precioso. Ella sigue cantando. Gracias por este vídeo y un saludo.

Oui elle a 11 ans ici. A Le meme age elle a chant Le Ave Maria Gomez, totallement different chant, et un performance solo, et stupefiante. Il ya beaucoup de chosen d'Amira disponible, touts magnificent. Ne hesitate pas a recherche.

Olá Will , Bom dia. !!! Curto muito essa menina e esse vídeo dela cantando com o Gissur . Todos dois são excelentes !!! Já tem mais ou menos 2 anos que ouço essa música da Ave Maria com Amira e o Gissur , todos os dias. É realmente muito emocionante para mim. E todas as noites logo após quando termino de dedicar minha oração a minha querida Mãe , ponho este vídeo em homenagem a minha querida Mãe e fecho meus olhos e vejo um filme dos nossos melhores momentos que vivemos juntos e sempre acabo chorando. Realnente essa menina é um Anjo e tras uma paz uma sensação muito boa que não sei explicar. Em fim é uma bênção Deus.!!!❤❤❤

Amira est destinée à devenir la plus grande de toutes les (mezzo)soprano. Sa voix pure et claire est un ravissement pour les oreilles et le coeur (et en ce qui me concerne un véritable anti-dépresseur). Quand on sait qu'elle était autodidacte lors de sa première prestation à Holland Got Talent (qu'elle a gagné), c'est complètement fou. D'ailleurs, dans la vidéo de cette prestation kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3XUhXWigLpneac vous pourrez entendre au compteur 00:17 la prononciation correcte de son nom de famille

I think that reaction to Amira was positive, but the English translation was terrible, so it was very difficult to understand your actual thoughts. But never mind, if you continue with her performance reactions, I’ll’ know that you are as impressed with Amira as are millions of fans worldwide. One performance you shouldn’t let slip though is her other Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church at age 11. This is mind boggling. Cheers Graeme

J’ai décidé de supprimer le commentaire que j’avais fait le 4 mars, jour de la publication de cette vidéo parce que je m’y suis vu apostrophé avec véhémence par quelqu'un que je ne connaissais pas jusque là. Pourtant mon commentaire, me semble-t-il, ne prêtait pas à polémique : « S'agissant d'Amira Willighagen je pensais plutôt que tu allais réagir d'abord à son "O mio babbino caro" comme la plupart des réacteurs, mais il faut reconnaitre que le "Ave Maria" de Gounod n'est pas mal non plus ! Bien sûr je ne suis pas trop fan de présenter de futures chanteuses lyriques à un age aussi tendre : elles ont encore tellement de choses à apprendre et leurs voix sont encore loin de s'être complètement développées avec en plus le risque de les abimer irrémédiablement si elles ne se sont pas bien entourées de professeurs compétents. Heureusement, ce n'était pas le cas pour Amira et elle a bien progressé depuis ! Une soprano lyrique n'atteindra la plénitude de ses possibilités qu'à la trentaine et donc Amira a encore beaucoup de chemin à faire, mais c'est vrai qu'à 11 ans elle était déjà très prometteuse. Il me tarde de l'entendre chanter les plus grands airs du répertoire à l'Opéra ! » Mais la personne disant s’appeler Yoga Jedi en a décidé autrement, lançant un débat sans queue ni tête sur la formation des artistes lyriques. Je pense qu’un tel débat n’a pas sa place sur cette chaine et j’espère que Yoga Jedi aura l’intelligence de le comprendre. Will, je te prie de bien vouloir m’excuser d’avoir été à l’origine de ce malencontreux incident. Je t'en remercie par avance.

If you do your research you'll find Amira, up till now, had almost no vocal teaching, she is a natural and found the technique out by herself. She had some vocal-artistic guidance though. Her first CD guided by her choir director, her second cd she had 4 lessons provides by Sony, her name was Henny. For her third CD her mentor was Corlea Botha who is a professional singer but not a classical one, they sang Flower Duet together at concert CIG. She also had a few artistic master classes s with Andre Rieu in preparation for her performance at Maastricht. She also had a few other but anyone who knows Amira knows she only had regular teachers signed up as alibies to get ignorant critics mouth shut up. If you look thru her videos you'll also find she always sings amplified except in few rare occasions where you can hear how her real unplugged voice sound and changes quite a lot, more than the average, during the years. 1) At eleven she sang duet with Alma Deutscher in a small church. YT search for "Amira Willighagen & Alma Deutscher ♫ Duet of the Stepsisters ♫" 2) At 15 she sang front with her school choir. Search YT for "Amira Willighagen - Hoe lieflik is Sion 2019" 3) At 18 she again sang in a small church where she sings all highest notes straight flat with no vibrato, because that is the only way she with maturity can hit them. YT search "Amira Willighagen - Hark! The Herald Angels Sing 2022". And I tell everyone her latest unplugged video again proves she is not a traditional classical soprano but more of a musical singer with her own unique style. She still in her shows sings some opera but in a popera(La Vergine Degli Angeli) style. If Amira been showeld into serious classical teaching she by now would been just another boring classical soprano, and that would be the greatest waste you can do with a talent.

@@wilmaestroreactions You must understand I FIRST OF ALL did in depth research of her development, by watching her videos and reading a lot before commenting on her. And with such insight you must put all newcomers with apparently no insight and only prefabricated assumptions, that might fall correct on the average singer, to shame. You just can't apply such general measurements on an anomaly like Amira, it's not better than showing her no respect. Did you for example know it was the choir director who invited Amira to Royal Albert Hall and on a FB-post at the rehearsal he was just astounded of her incredible voice and technique, actually everyone was, including choir members. Those who are criticising can't sing well themselves and all are not better than happy amateurs, despite any degrees which in reality are totally worthless and can be used as paper they can wipe their bottom with. For a serious review on her Rieu performance you for example can search for a study where Amira is given as an example of "truly extraordinary mastery of resonance". You can also check who the other example is !! You have to engine search for "Oxford singing lessons Vocal Technique Interpretations Performance skills Understanding resonance with MRI scans" When you are a professional and understand about vocals in depth you also understand Amira does not strain at all. She had some vocally not so good performances but that happens also the best.

Straining her voice at that young age can cause permanent damage to her vocal chords. Thus impairing purity of sound for higher notes as her voice matures. A tragedy for a little one with so much talent. Foolish of adults to let her do this. They know the risks full well, but putting her future career in jeopardy is a very dangerous, and to me abusive thing to do. Musical professionals know better than to let this happen. BUT Amira is straining here and is pushing her vocal chords. She needs to ease into reaching very high notes only after years of proper training.
