Spring has sprung! Finally after a merciless winter, Spring decided to show itself! And what better way to celebrate than to spend the weekend in the Historic Red Clay Valley! During the weekends prior and up to Easter, the Wilmington & Western Railroad runs special steam-powered excursions that snake their way along the Red Clay Creek. A special guest joins them along the way, Mr. Cottontail himself! For this weekend, former Mississippi Central 4-4-0 "American" #98, built by the American Locomotive Works in January of 1909, has the special honor of pulling the 6 car excursion consist on her own, which does not happen too often! Now, please enjoy the sights and sounds of W&W 98 tackling the grades of the former Baltimore & Ohio's "Landenberg Branch" in this exciting presentation brought to you by Blue Comet Productions!
