Mr. Bickford, I'm an artist from Tennessee. So, farms and old abandoned home places are my passion. I love the colors of the aged wood on these barns and homes. There's a presence that is felt when looking at these place, the work, the struggles of farming and the carpentry that made these buildings withstand storms and years of brutal weather. This is all I paint,...I paint saw blades, old milk cans ,mail boxes, etc. I was listening to your comments on some other artists,...William Alexander and Bob Ross. The soft spoken Ross, and the fiery and passionate Alexander guided my imagination and talent. I would like to add you to my list of inspirational artists. I have enjoyed your videos and will be watching more of them. Thank you very much! Chris C.

Thank you Wilson, I have just recently over the past 2 months got back into painting after not picking up a brush for over 33 years. I have struggles with clouds and mist/fog. Thank you very much for this lesson. If you have a lesson on easy clouds I would appreciate seeing it. I paint in acrylic and I use Liquitex Basics. This is SO helpful. Im looking up ways to make the kind of fog I want. Another thing- I have the exact same easel. I have been thinking it is too big- I never thought to set my glass palette on there the way you do. It's a great use of the space. I actually a glass palette exactly similar to what you have!
