Hey! Finally found someone that disassembles 1911 like I do, without removing the spring first 😁

does removing the extractor knock it out of adjustment or is it ok to remove it for cleaning?
@retiredafce33734 жыл бұрын
It’s ok to remove it.

💧 I thought a drop was a drop? What is a 1/4 drop & a 1/2 drop? How do we divide a natural drop of oil? 🤷🏻♂️

wilson combat 3000 usd (or way more) cleaning kit for a 1911 and good quality lubricants 200usd... having the balls and the nerve, as well as the knowledge to grabe a very expensive gun and handle it like a champ with out worring for a scratch cus you trust all youre skills (unlike many RIA owners who handle theyre guns as if they were 5000 usd customs) PRICELESS

I would probably use just a tad more lube. Not sure exactly how to measure a quarter drop.

Good information but difficult to hear at times. Had my computer volume at max. but still hard to understand as he would talk softer much of the time. Maybe go a little slower and clearly and loudly explain everything.

I don't exactly think he's putting a ton of lube on here. And who's fighting in the desert here or on the beach in most defensive carry situations anyway?
@kennyb506 жыл бұрын
A little too advanced for me. My head would burst trying to put it back together.

Outstanding , as they say do not try this at home unless your are a trained on this . I would say say this type of cleaning might need to be done after 50.000 rounds or so . Other wise not necessary in this depth at all.

You failed to mention safety glasses or gloves to protect your eyes from spring loaded parts and gloves to protect hands from absorbing solvents. Not a good video for newbies or inexperienced owners.

I wouldn't trust just anybody to clean my Wilson Combat except them also this procedure is not done very often.

You Don't have to be Rich to own a $ 3,500. dollar pistol , just go without a cell phone for 2 & half years . Not enough ? cut your TV cable off. More ? Cut your internet you will have more time to ..^*):......... .. .

Some people, even rich people, prefer to do things themselves instead of paying others to do it for them.
