So after hearing this I sought out the original … this blows it out of the water, IMHO. Great great job. I’ve heard the analogy that a good cover is like a good movie sequel. It has enough of the elements of the original to be familiar, but is also different enough to be its own thing. The worst of both are when they hew too close to the source material. This is an excellent example of how to do it right.
