Lady, you saved my husband's cupcakes from a spatula smear-job. (wow I sound old, am 39.) My frosting was too loose, despite confectioner's sugar correction, but he proclaimed it the best he's had in ages. (heavy whipped cream, cream cheese, vanilla) i got it back into relatively pipeable state. This was my first piping attempt, though, and I wish I could share a pic. Spiral out, spiral back up to a push in, push out, peak.
