Everyday a man wakes up and everyday a man tries to pour himself a cup of coffee and take a good hard long look in the mirror. And sometimes what he looks at he doesn't like it, sometimes what he sees, it makes him angry, sometimes what he sees makes him sad... Sometimes what he sees isn't himself, and that disappointment ( gets into you and rips you off little by little, piece by piece)... And sometimes you can just lay down, you can just play the game, you can just take the cards that they dealed you, you can just pretend it's aaaaaall over, WELL NOT ME!!! I have BIG doubts in the part that's between brackets, I may have made a mistake since English is not my native language, but I think that it's pretty accurate.

This was in my opinion, as a life long BJ fan and veteran of many tours/shows, the bands finest hour and greatest live song, performance!!! This was a special day, one never to forget and the band have never reached these heights of natural beauty ever since....performances today are strained, and a bit Hollywood for my liking...but THIS was special, very special indeed!!

Some of the best times of my life....Saw Jovi every time they were at MK in the 90's....three days in a row at the old Wembley Stadium.... Greatest band in the world.....most incredible memories....

I was lucky enough to be at the (MK) Bowl that day, with a girl at the time. We had been together for around a 6 months at the time, and i remember like it was yesterday that speech and her reaction to it. She was a huge fan, and i arranged the trip as a birthday present for her. It was on that day that i fell for my first love. Unfortunately it never worked out for us, but i will always have fond memories of her, and in particular that day we shared... One of the best days of my life.

This is the only version of Dry County that I have ever listened to. The audio file of this version was in my auntie's computer back in 1998. I tried to copy it but the size was bigger than 1.44 MB (the small floppy disc) and the computer finally broke in 2002. I am so glad that I can finally listen to this again. Thank you.

@WiltshireKid01 I was 17 at the time. I went on to see 2 more Bon Jovi concerts in the next 3 years, another at MK bowl and at the old Wembley stadium just before it was demolished... I believe that Bon Jovi were the last (well known) band to play at the old Wembley... another great and emotional occaision (I'm also a huge football fan!)

i was also there with my now husbend who i met at the age of 17, i was 21 in 93, it was an amazing gig, we went with 2 friends and drank out of date budwiser, ( we didnt realise it was out of date until later) it was also a massive surprise to have Billy Idol supporting them on the day/evening we went as i am also a hugh fan of his and we had no idea he was going to be there, he was also fantastic and i can still see him in his red leather suit..

They did 2 nights at MK Bowl; Saturday 18th September 1993 and Sunday 19th September 1993. The Saturday night one was broadcast Live on BBC Radio, I was at that concert but they didn’t play this song, the Sunday 19th wasn’t broadcast and they did play this song. Therefore this is from the Sunday 19th concert and I didn’t get to hear them play it live, but I do have the BBC Radio recording on cassette tape (somewhere).
