Me three and all other Rafanatics worldwide share our pain. But although Rafa played like shit during the first 3 sets, Rosol played like a dream and deserved the victory. During the first set I was trelling my friend that Rafa will be blasted by Kohlschreiber if he plays like this and lo and behold he doesn't even get a shot at Kohlschreiber.

I remember watching this match back then. Still one of the most amazing surprises in tennis ever, more due to Rosol being on a cloud than the beating of Rafa. It might have been the biggest set back for Nadal, but still he took it with dignity. Have a look at coming guy Kyrgios and you'll understand what the difference between class and no class (in defeat) means. Finally Rafa is always humble in his victories on top, specifically when a Federer (greatest player without a doubt) is closer to crying than taking it well. Still I'm a Fed fan, as when it comes to the beauty of the moves, that guy is above everyone all the time :-)

Rafa played a very good match, but Rosol was better let's face it. Pushing the ball 3m above net doesn't helped this time. Moreover in the interviews after the match we can read that Nadal was using all of his method's e.g. talking to Lukas, trying to deconcentrate him and even collided with him while changing sites.

Has there ever been a greater upset in sporting or human history? I am sure David had better odds against Goliath than Rosol had against Rafa. In the future people will will be telling their kids this story and not the David Goliath one. Although this one hurt much less than those finals against Nole or THAT match against Soderling.

He did. He lost fair and square, while injured. 3 months of the greatest red clay season of all time (didn't drop a set until the RG final) contributed to that injury, and the 6 months of time off taken after that would be another clue to that injury (Tendinitis and Kohler's feet).

Rafael Nadal got injured in final set fully which gave chance to Rosol to finish him of Djokovic defeated Nadal in fair manner in 2015 French open quarterfinals for sure Rosol who can't respect rackets beated Nadal is shocking for sure.
