I think nole is the goat, but his serve is definitely a comparative weakness, especially in his earlier career. Compared to the average player it's a great serve, but compared to the all-time greats, it's a little weak.

@@tnuyx9405 Yes. His serving has improved greatly, and is very strong now. However, in his early career it was a weakness - that's what I'm referring to. Even now I'd say it's a *comparative* weakness. What this means is that it's one of his worst attributes, even though in absolute terms it is strong. Compared to his backhand (number 1 in the world), forehand (top 3), and movement (number 1), it is not as good.

@@alfiecollins5617 I'd argue his forehand is number 1 in the world. He finds angles and lines on the court consistently than any other player and the way he has been hitting his forehand this year has surpassed Federer's in my books.

I think that it was more a case of Murray not allowing Djokovic to reach top gear, he was just coming at him again and again, so Novak was finding it difficult to play his best level. That's what Murray can do to opponents, he has that rare ability to play in a way that hampers his opponent's ability to play their best - Murray was running Djokovic all about the court, and as a result he was making many errors!

I don't think Novak played necessarily bad, Andy just seemed to win every key point/game. Every one of those 3 sets could have easily gone the other way, I wished it had gone 4 or 5 sets. Should be looking at another Novak-Murray tangle at US Open too. On a side note, seems like Novak is always the bad guy in the finals he plays - Murray, Nadal, Fed always have the crowd on their side
