i started out in the pill and absolutely hated it! about 5 months ago i switched to an iud. I have the copper iud and i still get my period every month! It doesn’t change anything hormonal wise!! I love it!

I feel that I was on the pill up until recently but I was getting super sick on the pill so I transferred to the depo shot and I love it but I get my period for the first 2 months of being on the shot but then after that I don’t get it for three months

I love the videos and I've been watching a long time, but for anyone who was interested in what she was saying about birth control and happen to read the comments I have something for you as someone who works at planned parenthood. It is totally normal to get a period and it is also totally normal to not get a period (when on birth control) it is not unhealthy to not have a period when on birth control and your typical bleeding does not get blocked, the birth control causes the lining to not shed when you take your pills continuously or skip your placebos! If you have very bad cramps and/ or heavy bleeding then it is not ideal to put yourself through that every month! Also like a lot of other people said, there are at least 5 IUDs I can think of off the top of my head and there is a non hormonal IUD called the Paragard which a lot of people love because they do still get their period every month :) no hate or anything, knowledge is power especially when it comes to your body

It had been indicted for offering birth control but took the case to the Supreme Court which ruled 7 to 2 that birth control is a constitutional right (Griswold v Connecticut). If you go off birth control and still want to track everything get the app natural cycles!! I’ve been on it for about a year. You take your temperature every morning and it tells you if you have a red or Green Day! It’s been really nice

As someone with a hormonal IUD, I still get my period. There's different IUD's with various levels of progesterone (the higher the progesterone the more likely you are to get lighter periods or no periods) and the non-hormonal IUD too so if you really hate the pill I would suggest one of those! (Plus you don't have to worry about forgetting to take the pill lol). Also look into the depo shot too!

I love birth control and I couldn't imagine my life without it anymore. I allow myself to come on every 3 months or else I'll start spotting but it's pure bliss to not come on once or twice a month any longer!

I had the same question with my provider for BC. Sometimes I had one pill that was named one thing, another named something else. My provider informed me that they are essentially the same pill, it just depends on the supplier/brand. For example, Microgestin Fe and Junel Fe along with many others have the same hormones in the same amounts. It is a brand/generic pair that can be used interchangeably.

For birth control you could use the nouveau ring! A lot of people don’t know about it, but It’s literally the best. It hardly has side effects and you still get your period, instead of a long 7 days period it’s like 3-4 days and pretty mild I never bled through anything when I was on it. It’s also the most convenient in my opinion you don’t forget about taking it because it’s always in and you can take it out whenever, it doesn’t hurt at all and you don’t notice it.

It’s funny that you talked about BC this vlog bc I literally just stopped taking mine! I’ve been on a few different pill versions that just weren’t working out and then I ended up getting a nuvaring for a month. It was absolutely horrible for my hormones… I finally said FUCKKKK this and now I’m off of it and managing it on my own. I was so tired of not feeling like myself. So totally understand where your coming from with that, I hope it gets better for you ❤️

Hey girl I have an IUD and I get my period regularly! It just depends what IUD you get I have the Copper one and there’s no hormones and I get my period every month !

Paragard is 100% hormone free IUD and you will still get your period with it implanted, you may even get heavier periods. Also, It last about 10 years and way more low maintenance. Always check with your healthcare provider first for all details. I hope this helps!

You should try the ring. You take it out after 3 weeks and have your period the 4th week. It’s something worth looking into. It goes up your vag btw :) I’ve tried the implant pill and ring.

Can you please do an in-depth video about starting a KZbin Channel/ being a content creator. Like can you talk about how to get in touch with brands(how much you charge) how to find a manager, taxes, do you set up a new email for brands to contact you/ give them your real address. Etc… No one actually talks about the ins and out and they only show the great parts. (I am on Depo and you get the shot on your butt every 3 months. October would be my 3rd time getting the shot, I mean there are definitely side effects the first couple of months but you can ask your doctor about it)

I’m on a low dose combo pill and I never get my period on it. It regulates my hormones. I’m never emotional on it. I get clear skin. I don’t get any cramps. Zero pms. However I’ve been taking the same brand of pill for almost 5 years. If I skip doses or get off of it completely, I start breaking out bad. I start getting pms, super angry, nausea, spotting, cramps, bloating ect. If I’m not on the pill, my hormones are so wacked out.
