I agree, his Carnaval is absolutely fantastic. But, if you can, listen to the one Daniel Barenboïm recorded for Deutsche Grammophone at the end of the 70's, it's on the same level : unforgettable.

Op vakantie in Assisi las ik het boek: "In het huis van de dichter"van Jan Brokken. Zelden ben ik zo geraakt door pianospel als juist bij deze meester. Bij zijn Debussy in deze opname, zie ik het sneeuw, zie ik de reflecties in het water letterlijk. Bij Egorov is de rijke inleving en verbeelding, het klankpalet en de dynamiek adembenemend. Na het luisteren intensief, komen de tranen en is er louter stilte na afloop........je kunt niks meer zeggen, de muziek in zijn handen heeft alles al gezegd.

it was me who uploaded this recital as complete concert, and I agree at that time they should have released it as a complete concert, and not on two separate CDs and omitted the Schumann. Would have been nice if they would added this to the 10CD box, they did not.
