when Pete does his chipping tests he is on it, get out on the course its totally different, that's why all these simulators and machines , launchers etc , all bullshit if you don't get the mental side of the game, for me . too much practice thoughts, swing thoughts , technical swing thoughts, personally every time ive had a lesson ive been thrown off for weeks, any ideas guys?? whats your thoughts on this conundrum!!

Beach Fraser I’ve not done a chipping test or much practice on that side of my game for a while, that definitely has something to do with it

I guess I meant your FSX skills thing you do mate, I have seen you score very well on that test a few times, but golf is a never ending practice and development game, watching the pros win and then the next week not even make the cut is so weird, look at Rory, he said he was very close, doesn't make the cut and then a week later plays unbelievable golf, he was on strokes gained the best putter in the tourney, that after a 2/3 hour session with Brad Faxon, confidence and belief in your ability is paramount at all levels , with tiger coming through it is a massive deal for golf, the masters coverage on the BBC is now pretty good this year!! Good times!!
