Winback - Full Game Walkthrough / PS2

All gameplay footage was captured straight from the PlayStation 2 console, no emulation here. I also own Winback on the 64 and planned on doing the walkthrough on Nintendo originally. But seeing as I also own a PS2 and have never played that version, I decided to play that one instead. It's the same exact game, just better graphics. Pretty much one of the first remasters. This game is a BITCH in the later levels. So if you watch this you are going to see me die. Alot. Of course, not too much either, lol. I cut out any parts where I died over and over and over and over and over again. Another thing, the N64 version does not have voice acting, which after hearing it in this version, I honestly think that was for the best. lol. The voice acting in this game is absolutely terrible, pure hot garbage. It's some of the worst I've ever heard. So bad in fact, that it's good. lol. However, the gun play in this game is fantastic, I truly feel Winback was ahead of it's time in that regard. The story is a little bland though. Simple good guys vs terrorist concept. All in all, the game is challenging and fun to play. To the point I might actually go ahead and upload the N64 version as well. Not only because it's fun, but to showcase the differences. So, as usual. Whoever you are, wherever you are, if you are watching this I hope you enjoy. Fun fact - When I was a child my mother bought this for me on the N64 and she herself ended up loving it. lol. She wasn't really into games before then, besides some Mortal Kombat here and there. She still sometimes plays this game even now, this or Fallout 4.

I always wanted to play this game but never had a chance to get around to it I might just go ahead and pick up the n64 copy and that's a great story to hear about your mom liking this game it goes to show that even if you're not a big gamer there are still certain games that will pull you in almost like a movie lol.

@@RetroGemini99 Definitely man, give it a shot if you've never played it. Hell you could try it out on the 64 emulator for your phone just to see if you'd like it. It's hard to stop once you get going. lol. I guess that's how good games mostly are.

Same. It truly felt ahead of it's time back then. Especially on the Nintendo 64. Although I will say this version on the PS2 is much harder, the enemies react faster.

Phenomenal work bro this was a very great full walkthrough the voice acting in this game was terrible and cringy and the story was just bland but overall it was a great game there was definitely a lot of moments where the game was frustrating and kinda unfair but you pulled through keep up the good work.

Thanks man. I appreciate the kind words. Yeah the game is pretty unfair at times. It really makes you think about how to approach situations. Rushing in got me killed many times. But yeah the story is not really good but not really bad. That voice acting though... Atrocious. lol. I couldn't take any of the cutscenes seriously because of it. The gunplay makes up for that though. Loved the cover to cover combat.

Just completed it in just under 5 hours..lol and ya the voice overs are unbelievibally horrid to the point of one spliting ones side laughing...I MUST COMPLETE MY MISSION...HAHA I will now play syphon filter one and two on the play station (you need a playstation one memory card) I love all the old games. I also have the first couple of metal gears. The first red faction was a great shooter too (he is on mars) Cheers from the north shore of Superior...Marathon Ontario Five weeks to Moose season 😊❤💥🥩HEH HEH Freezer is loaded with 96 Pickerel fillets for the winter 👍
