Yes you can! You are not limited on the number of alarm controls you can add to the project. They can all be filtered many different ways so for the other system, as long as you have the tags in there and put them in their own group then just filter that alarm control to show messages from the other system.

Hello WinCCGURU. I'm currently struggling with WinCC v7.5 SP2, because I'm not able to set, for the message source (text) of an alarm, an internal tag (Text tag 8-bit character set. How can this be achieved? Is this applicable to external tags also? However, I managed to display this internal tag content a process value. Thank you

You can use the insert process variables method. I’ll post a link to the video to show you how.

HI, there is such a problem I created a warning message and added a sound (horn). the message works, but the sound does not work , then I did so first I added a sound (horn) to the class, then I added a message. Then the sound worked, but the message warning does not display

Hi, I'm trying to set a Alarm group for OPC UA Tags, but in Tag Selection Dialog I can't see my tags list, i already logging this tags for Trends but i don't know if is not possible for Alarm logging of OPC tags.... Thanks!!

Alarm logging only allows discrete tags such as unsigned 8,16 or 32 bit or binary. If your tags are signed or float they won’t show. You can however use them with analog alarms and set limits.

Which version are you on? In WinCC v7.5 and higher it’s in WinCC control center. In WinCC 7.4 and lower it’s a windows app called tag simulator.
