I have both the Winchester 52 and 75, with Redfield micrometer sights. They will go to the grandkids. Whoever planned that range had no thoughts about East and west you shouldn’t be shooting into the sun…

Shopped at Freelands store many times in the 70's. My FWB 300 came from him. Your John Deere shirt headquarters in Moline is only 10 minutes from Freelands. The 52D was a favorite of mine.

I have a Martini International Mk3 that I bought about 15 years ago. It had a shot out barrel, so I had it rebarreled with a Shilen gain twist barrel. It is topped with the same scope as yours. Redfield model 3200 in 24x. I haven’t shot it in at least 10 years. I just drug it out of the safe this evening and cleaned it all up.

If you're looking for affordable ammo, SK Rifle match is where's it's at, at least in my 52D. I won my state's aggregate championship (we run the Dewar course of fire) with that rifle and ammo in 2021. I found it shoots better then Tenex and Center X, but for half the price.
