I'd give anything to have a house in a place as quiet, peaceful, and isolated as this. I'm exhausted of cities, people, and the sounds that they make.

I bought myself undeveloped land I can go to whenever and RV camp for 15 days a month which is enough for now. I intend to build later. The other comment is right, find yourself cheap land to escape to, not so hard to do, find something that is right for you and research, diligent research. I recommend Smile4u Inc. They are great as a company to purchase land from, good luck.

Watch Clouds in a time lapse video. You can see our atmosphere behaves just like a liquid. The only difference between gasses and liquids is how separated the particles are. You are hearing waves, in a way, and we are in an our own sort of ocean of nitrogen gas.

As an Asian guy who mostly live with the rice from my whole childhood I just like to take a nap at the hammock swing while feeling the warm breezing air from the wide open sunset this is the most beautiful and enjoyable memories I got being alone when I lived from the Philippines, now I live in a city everything just feels kinda burnt here but it’s ok I have this vid gives me nostalgia I can almost smell the air again

I am so happy to read about everyone's feelings of relaxation listening to the wind on this video. Having gone through a major hurricane on a small island, the sound of the wind stresses me out. I started listening to desensitize myself since it is an irrational thing. Knowing that the sound is associated with pleasant memories for so many people is very helpful.

This reminds me of summer days when I was little, laying in my Uncles hay fields dozing, with the sun keeping me warm, the slight smell of sweet fresh cut grass and every once in a while a horse would winnie from a nearby pasture.

Just beautiful and calming. A friend of mine lives in the back of someone else corn field. I sit on the ground surrounded by the tall corn stalks, and just like here , it would only be, the earth, the wind and myself. No time, no place just in that moment. Thank you for recreating that memory.

I really hope I can afford some nice acreage one day and have a happy little meadow with happy little wildlife. When I'm on my grandparent's ranch and the wind comes down from the hills it sounds so enchanting it always gives me goosebumps, that plus the gorgeous view looking down from the hill into the rural towns.

If you give it some thought, NO one really likes "the city" with its noise and hard surfaces. They are too afraid of Independence to live outside of it. Fear governs most people, and so they huddle together like creatures afraid of the wolf or lion. Country folk are a tough breed. . .

In a green, plain meadow. Kilometers wide. Wind blowing, grasses dancing. Not far from my place, there's a stream of a little river. I lay down alone, looking at the place not far ahead. Where a mountain stood, with roaring grey sky above it. A rain is coming, and I have no place for hiding.

I’d much rather it be without the crickets ... they wouldn’t be featured in the daytime anyway ... you’d hear other things buzzing but not that sound .. seems like a good attempt at recreating the sounds that would occur but seems more so that perhaps someone who’s never lived around such an environment was trying to do their best to come up with sounds they thought would be present .. there’d be buzzing of bees and even grass hopper sounds and bugs making grinding wind up noises that are similar but absent of the chirp sound going on. Good effort but a bit misrepresented.

I feel that, too - so much. we're so unconnected to the earth in a city. my apt. faces north and i don't even get sunlight through my windows - no inside garden, then. my soul is in the country living with the Earth. so thank you so much - these crickets are the ones i grew up with - and the wind through the grass is very restful. this is a wonderful audio video. and your recording is so great.
