well i mean.... they are 2 completely different characters, bowser is much larger and heavier, which means he is likely much stronger, and that lets him run faster, all that together means HE can make it, but squirtle can't, it's not like they are similar characters or any of that, sure they are both turtles but that doesn't matter at all

I can’t speak for his speed, but I can speak for the fact that he’s one of the heaviest characters on the roster. And being heavier would make it so being moved by wind is a whooole lot harder.

Some fighters has the advantage when I first attempted it! People need to know these tips for some fighters! Rosalina can only make it to 10 because her Up special can boost her slightly but it wasn’t enough to get through it she’s close! Terry Bogard is the only person who can barely reach to 10 because if you can accumulate his damage percentage to 100%, Watch very closely to the fire spread as he tries to slides up the slopes meaning it’s still count as reach higher slope! Mii Swordfighter can really reach to 9 because if you use Power Thrust it can boost your speed to it! Mii Gunner can use Arm Rocket to boost herself if you diagonally your input downward! Simon or Richter can reach to 9, their Down tilt can help slide as you press the input again you can barely see their leg reaching to it but be aware that they still need to use it to their advantage! Corrin’s Dragon Lunge can barely help her reach to 9, Once you about to reach it, Use your side-special quickly as you can! Luigi is the next fighter! He’s is barely close to his brother! He can only reach to 9 if you’re lucky enough to get a misfire for him! Just keep trying until you get it! Bayonetta is luckily to reach 10 because if you use Burner Kick while airborne you can barely boost her! Never judge a woman athletic capabilities! Ike can use Quick Draw as he barely reaches to 9! Use it carefully or else he’ll get push back from strong wind!

I was confused how adding a slope could justify an entirely new video with this challenge, but then I compared the results. It seems like running up a slope is actually slightly faster. For example, bowser actually made it this time. On the other hand, some moves seem to behave differently on a slope. For example, jigglypuffs rollout failed horribly this time around.

I think the difference is mostly the fac that the wind isn't at a 90 degrees angle, and doesn't actually push more, it actually pushes less due to how the wind physics work.

Anyone else prefer these tier list challenges to the basic ones? I like the read out at the end of where everyone is placed...though I do like the one character only challenges as well(and the all but one)

Makes sense to do some challenges to see how high or far away can somebody hit mario (or other character) on a fixed % (0, 50, 100) even only using certain moves (only specials, only smashes or tilts etc...) I thing it would be very interesting to see..!

I really love how based on the animation it's a lot easier for others to make it through. The tradditional running fighters are basically fighting the wind, and therefore can't always keep up with it. Only a few like Sonic and Fox can fight/outspeed through it. While the Gliding/Floaty runners glide through the wind, making it much more easier to make it up the slope. Kind of like the difference between a swimmer fighting the currents in a tide and a surfer riding the waves.

Some Special moves make significant differences depending on speed rather than distance alone, and some Special moves are immune to wind. However, he still should've tried more moves such as Zelda's Special moves (which are all immune to wind when used in midair), Falco & Wolf's Side Special moves (which are fast considering how close they were), etc.
