WIND FARMS IN PAKISTAN | WIND ENERGY

Wind power or wind energy is mostly the use of wind turbines to generate electricity. Wind power is a popular, sustainable, renewable energy source that has a much smaller impact on the environment than burning fossil fuels. Historically, wind power has been used in sails, windmills and wind pumps but today it is mostly used to generate electricity. Wind farms consist of many individual wind turbines, which are connected to the electric power transmission network.
Wind power in Pakistan which makes up more than 6% of the total electricity production in the country. As of 2018, wind power capacity in Pakistan was 1,287 MW. The government is looking to increase the share of renewable energy and plans to add around 3.5 GW of wind energy capacity by 2018.
The Gharo-Jhimpir wind corridor in Sindh was identified as the most lucrative site for wind power plants. The wind power potential covered an area of 9700 km2 with a gross wind power potential of 43000 MW.

What you did not say is that China is the leader in wind turbine production, installation and powe generation. No country is anywhere near them in manufacturing and installing wnd turbines.

FWEL-I and FWEL-II have almost been ignored in this video, these were first projects completed in Gharo area, though video clips and CSR activities of their area have been shown. These 2 projects were declared as successful and role model projects by ABD in 2013/14.
