Bicycle wheel intact, with added fins, inside a DIY cowl...nice! Makes it very easy to replace bearings using standard parts. What if...you use 2 bicycle wheels, one on each end of an axle, and formed double helix fins between the wheels, mounted this horizontal, with an alternator at each end?

Lah... Yang begini kok ga dikembangkan lebih baik om? Bisa dipakai rakyat kebanyakan... Saya lagi ngebayangin wind-lens turbine ini bisa dibuat dengan sangat sederhana bermodal ban sepeda isi kumparan (stator), dan magnet permanen di jari2/felg rotornya.

I don't believe it generates 500 W. More probably between 10 and 75.

apparent power and real power not to be confused with 500watt gasoline-powered generators and wind-powered generators. All people know that the windmill does not spin all day. the windmill has to collect energy for 24 hours to produce 500w then it runs out within 1 hour. you just save 500w for one day, and that's the max battery storage

@@rayoey3577 W and Wh should not be confused. Title says 500 W. That's the power you get in any moment when it spins. It means, when it spins at optimal speed, it can support a 500 W load.

@@AcvaristulLenes Such is the title which is sometimes written incorrectly, but does not aim to mislead the viewer because the viewer is much smarter than the creator in every little matter. While there are lots of fake titles and content out there, I just want to show that one person with limited skills, limited knowledge, limited finances and even making and uploading videos using cheap and bad cellphones can do something positive

Я действительно хочу делать хорошие видео и хорошо звучать, это один из процессов, которым я учусь, имея только камеру от дешевого сотового телефона, и вся работа выполняется вручную, потому что у них нет машины и нет опыта в редактировании видео, тогда вот результат. менее точен по сравнению с профессиональным видео понизьте звук компьютера, чтобы не болели уши

I am sorry but, this is not a true wind lense? Also, a real wind lense is a waste of time. You are only going to get a wind turbine to use only 59% of the energy from the wind. A wind lense is just not going to improve that.

You're right , the efficiency of the venturi effect is not too big , unless you create a wind tunnel longer
