I was in Lanzarote for 3 months at the end of last year and watching the contest at La Santa was a highlight I will never forget

It’s good, thanks for all the work that goes into making your videos. Respectfully and kindly I feel like there’s way too much slow motion. And maybe some context too but I’m sure the locals are not pleased

Tim is a great person, he has an exquisite education, he is respectful and is respected by the locals. It's always welcome.

Slow mo is what my camera likes to shoot. Most action with the Red V Raptor is shot at 160 Frames per second then i speed up the edit mostly to 80 Frames per second. If i wanted fast surf porn stuff i would shoot with a $2k camera and mix it with punk music. Next year my sound tracks will be all classical. Arr, not really but i recon classical and slow mo would work more than not. Re the locals they like to be seen more than not only getting friendly vibes from all of them.

Your "surfingvision" is clear, Tim. Stick with your current editing style & sound mix. Smooth vibe mate. The slo mo gives us a chance to see all the surfing moves , and the sound tracks are mellow enough to keep us from feeling like we just punked our heads on the reef for the last twenty minutes.

Great edit, Tim - just what I needed. I should also say that the first surf video I ever owned was ‘Water Slaughter’ - here’s to another 30+ years!

Loved surfing here in La Santa back in the late 90s.. Lived there for 3 winters.. Haven't been back since though. Was fairly uncrowded at the time. ❤❤

El Quemao looking good! I scored all these places back in the early 2000s. Epic. Good to know the locals are still dickheads and keeping up tradition. 😅

In the future, is there any chance you could not show all the waves in slow motion, and maybe a complete ride every now and then?

Fabulous video. Again though, such annoying repetitive music droning on all the time. Why does everyone have to put music on videos now. There is no natural silence and nature sounds

Top edit, but that music track in the last 5 mins ruined it. Incredible A frame break….. 2 for 1 bonus
