The Green Cabin room is a bar 🍻 🍸🍹open in the evening with both inside and outside ocean view high-top seating (inside normal tables and chairs). They recently added an opening in the morning for Pastries and a limited drink menu. I love that bar!

Disappointing to hear about the short rib, I probably would have ordered that. Haricot Vert = French for green beans, though for US menu purposes they're usually the longer thinner variety.

It also would’ve been helpful as to WHY she gave the short rib a poor review. I didn’t hear any specifics - unless I missed it.

Thanks for this review! I love Vero Beach! (Also - if you happen to be there in the winter months, Vero has one of the best regional theaters (Broadway musicals) in the country with stellar casts. Check them out.) I really appreciate that Fiasco orders vegan options to steak dishes. Bravo.

Wow! They did a big reno since I was there in 2016. Dining reviewers need to pronounce terms ("REM-oo-lahd"; "Ah-ri-co vair" - "green beans") correctly to be taken seriously. DIS reviewers might want to read a collection of Mimi Sheraton's reviews to get a reliable base-line for reviewing. "Like" & "dislike" are not viable options for reviewers. That said, Fiasco is a good-looking guy, but is cute-as-a-button without a hat!

If you don’t mind a little drive I highly recommend the Ocean Grill. You’ll need a reservation, 10-15 minutes south, worth the drive.

Go to the Ocean Grill in Vero for dinner and Wind n Waves for breakfast.

Definitely, go to Mulligans beach house, about a 10 minute drive. Right on the beach.

We’ve had good reviews at wind and waves before however the ocean grill is fabulous, mulligans service is AWFUL!!!!

I'm like Corey, I hate Cheese and very selective! I'll still eat pizza and Lasagna and sometimes French Onion Soup BUT Everything else NO THANKS
