idk if this sounds like a strange way to describe it, but this album feels so....cosy. i'm in a million different places at once. one moment, i'm a yuppie, walking down a bustling city street with my briefcase in one hand and a mobile phone in the other. another moment, i'm a human detached from western society, standing underneath a waterfall in a tropical rainforest. another moment, i'm just a kid playing videogames in the living room during a family reunion, laughing with cousins i don't even know, while the adults chat about grown-up things and drink wine in the kitchen. it's a whole experience, and somehow i've managed to stumble across what feels like a 16-bit quest game while searching for studying music on the internet. isn't it so cool how we've all just gathered here? and we're tapping into all of our minds, reaching out on the world wide web, for someone to talk with, or even just acknowledge our existence. look at us all. i think this is what real connection is like. a digital, synthesised experience, but fueled by real emotion. wow

I have listened to it many since then over the last few years even as my tastes have changed some, it's all just so good. Many people here say this music reminds them of DKC, same for me, but add in some good old Chrono Trigger-esque games in as well. I want so so badly to make some sort of video game with this album as part of the soundtrack, but I sadly don't know how to make a game. It's okay though, just listening to the music is so much fun.

Me acerco sigilosa por un sendero a la costa, las hojas en materia orgánica bajo mis pies están humedas y resvaladizas; el canto de aves nocturnas te hacen sentir en un paraíso místico, eterno.

Very nice, eclectic music that has wonderful old skool Final Fantasy or Secret of Mana vibes to it, certainly kicking off fond memories of days long past.

People talm bout SNES/NES memories but this is like going back to early 2000's public education. So many online learning lessons or games with music like this, brings me back lol

I will always associate this album with the lovely island of Kauai. I was fortunate enough to explore this island, off-roading and camping in the wild. This was my soundtrack for that experience.
