Windcat Volvo Penta

The TV show was broadcasted on Dutch national television and has been made in close cooperation between Volvo Penta and Windcat workboats.
Constructing wind turbines at sea requires particular skills. The same goes for the transportation of engineers who work there. Windcat has got the solution. The engineers and electricians need a vessel to bring them from A to B, so Windcat developed a special vessel for the job. The vessels are built to be fast. Stability and speed are the most important and the vessels are propelled by Volvo Penta engines. Windcat wanted a partner who could provide both components and service any time of the day. Volvo Penta delivered on both the terms, and it turned out to be a green engine for a green industry.
