Windermere (2021)

Spurred by mysterious visions, a mortally wounded knight makes a last ditch effort to save his own life.
Based loosely on the song "The Witch of the Westmoreland" by Archie Fisher, as made famous by Stan Rogers.

While the ending seems to suggest that his quest was ultimately in vain, the only real complaint I have is that I couldn't get a good sense of how bad his wound was; at first glance it looked like a mere flesh wound that could've been healed with a poultice and a couple bandages. Ah well, I still liked the movie and the inspiration is clearly visible. All in all, I liked this movie enough to add it to my list of Favorites; thank you for making and posting it.

I see the mysterious young woman as a Valkyrie ... she guides the warrior's soul to Valhalla .. or you can see her as a witch ..

I'm sorry, but I didn't understand any of it. It lacked direction. I haven't seen the prelude or sequel to this excerpt and so was lost in space.
