Sold my Harley Heritage Softale Classic because of health reasons and bought the 2024 Honda NC750x DCT earlier this year and love it. It has allowed me to keep riding. I have nothing to prove and ride humbly and happy.

I have had mine for just over a year…..simply love it….and yes if you want ultra fast then get another bike, but lose your licence….seriously it’s a great bike with plenty of grunt, and yes it can go….all good points about the bike bar one…..the standard screen just is rubbish, mine scratches with the lightest touch…..get yourself a centre stand, hand guards and front and rear h fender extender, hugger…..and you are good to go….I am a returned rider after 43 years, nasty accident when 19, drunk driver ended my Yamaha RD250LC….nasty injuries, so a DCT really helps me…..my wish list…..maybe belt or shaft drive, maybe another disc up front and maybe cruise control……lovely bike….you will just enjoy the whole experience…..now, where is that Ducati……hehe..

I used to fit a XXL helmet in the front compartment. The bike excels in fuel economy, reliability, and practicality. Basically a work horse

I live in SoCal, bike Averages 53mpg…I’ve owned this bike for a month. first time rider friendly and very approachable for most ppl. It’s definitely fast enough for freeways and has enough passing power available whenever you need it. ❤

Great bike, 58hp is more than enough. I also have a Harley Heritage that sits on the charger because I don’t ride it enough. The NC is a do it all solid machine.

One of my favorite bikes of all time and I’ve never owned one. I came close in 2021 but I couldn’t get ahold of a DCT and a Rebel 1100 landed in my lap. Should have gotten the manual NC when I could. Now it’s DCT only for the US market. It’s the James May of motorcycles and I love that about it. Makes no sense to most traditional riders (yet it’s a best seller in the EU) but makes perfect sense to me. I need to buy one before they’re discontinued. I wouldn’t mind having DCT again, but I think this is actually a really fun engine to short-shift so I’ll try to find a low mileage 2021-22 manual.

I didn’t think you were going to get out of that hole! 😄 I enjoyed your video, it was just what I wanted….to see what the bike was like from the riders perspective, to hear the motor and see how the transmission worked without that sound being buried by incessant chatter and loud music. Thank You! I am interested in your opinion of the DCT transmission. It seemed to rev out nicely when you really got on it, but other times at slower speeds it seemed to kind of lug the motor. Your thoughts?
@windingroadmagazine7 ай бұрын
Glad to hear! True, it does lug sometimes, but it fits the character of the bike. Wouldn't want it on a sport bike, but I like DCT for this application.

why? its not a diesel engine
@faceless.anonymous6 ай бұрын
@@grodt88 yes it's not but it was bad to start the engine like that. Let the fuel pump do it's job first, like wait a couple of seconds before starting the engine so the fuel pump can deliver enough pressure, that's why you hear a noise everytime u turn the key on even the engine is still off. You will experience engine hesitation, stalling, or difficult starting if u always do what he did unless u know how to diagnose your engine

Crazy how they push out a 750 two cylinder these days with hp in the 50’s. Why? And at that price? I have a Magna, so obviously V4 700cc that made 84 when new.
@oakwolf51618 ай бұрын
@@Addison0526 unstressed engine will last longer (insanely long in the case of this motor...some have gone more than 250k miles). In any case, it makes good use of that power early in the band due to the torque coming instantly. It is actually peppy off a green light, if you can believe it, especially with DCT (sport mode). It won't outrace a sports bike going all out, but it will be taking off very quickly, a bit like Gold Wings can do, but without the weight.
