Windlands 2 | PSVR2 REVIEW

UPDATE: I just played Windlands 2 with Myles (on launch day) and there IS adaptive trigger support. But something's definitely wrong - Myles didn't feel them at all. And for a few minutes I only had adaptive trigger support in one controller. Callum (from Psytec Games) joined Myles after I left and didn't have adaptive trigger support either. So if you jump in and don't feel any trigger resistance, try restarting the game. And please respond to this comment letting me know if they're working for you! :D

Yes they worked for me but turned them off...like you said it's just too much triggering and I don't want to break my controller for something that doesn't add much in this context

The first windlands was probably my favourite game on psvr1, I never played number 2 but I purchased it before the release of psvr2 and never played. Looks fun

Sounds like it is going to be bit of a Ultrawings 2 for me when it comes to visuals. I had high hopes it would be pin sharp but in the end it looked the same as the game running on my Rift CV1, almost identical in fact Rift also being OLED. Still I get the PSVR2 version free, what I will probably do is play the PSVR1 version and then play the PSVR2 version straight after that way it will look really sharp haha. Shame about the under use of the headset haptics. I thought I heard you also got a rumble when being hit by enemy fire. Thanks for the review.

I picked up windlands 2 on sale a few months ago on psvr1, good to see it gets a free upgrade for psvr2 so I can play it with better controls. Windlands 1 should also get a upgrade, or maybe could be released as a dlc pack .

You have to find it. I don’t know why some games are so hard to find, but search Windlands 2 & then hit the “…” & click on PSVR2 version.. I just bought it.

It's confusing and annoying when you play some psvr1 review audio that criticizes Windlands 2 about something, but over an issue that ISN'T in the game you're reviewing! And then follow it with new audio about how the issue is gone. I walk away from your review being unsure what problems WL2 does or does not still have, due to this confusing presentation

Sorry that could have used some explanation. A lot of people played Windlands 1 and 2 on PSVR1 with the DualShock4 and it worked great.
