Hi. Just some friendly tips for you. The key is simply to lock the battery into the holder so it doesn't bounce loose. Turn it clockwise to lock, vice versa. Also, don't leave the key in the battery while riding so you don't lose it or break it. Off road on bumpy trails the front shocks will "bang" loudly on rebound. To fix this, get some 10" stiff rubber bungees and connect the hooks from the fender mount (movable portion of the shocks) to the crown support of the top of the shocks. Crimp the hook ends so they won't pull off the bungee and zip tie the other end of the hooks ( must be the metal hook itself) to the bike tightly. This will prevent the cords from popping off. This hack will quiet your ride significantly and prevent your shocks from being beat to death. Most of these low end Chinese bikes have no rebound control on the front forks. Oh, it also seems to help to crank the preload adjustments all the way up. Oh and one other thing; if you're attempting to climb a significant grade, especially off road on loose ground, keep it in first gear and pedal with the motor but pedal early enough to get the pedal sensors to kick in before starting up the grade. I burnt my controller power output wires into the signal wires by overheating them due to lack of pedal assist on those types of hills. Turned out to be a simple fix for that though but I am much more mindful of now of preventing overload to the controller. It's a really fun bike but I am going to upgraded the entire operating system at some point. Probably put a 1000 watt or maybe 1500 watt motor/ system on it. Then it will be nearly perfect.

A few things I don't think you have correct. It is a 500 watt and 750 max output motor..... Whatever that means .... Also it will go 46 miles with pedal assist the battery on this is smaller. It has some setbacks but I think for the price it's a steal ... I don't need to go over 40 miles and I want to pedal because exercise is good. It comes down to what you want... This bike is perfect for me .. Sporty ..honestly of your not willing to pedal this bike your not gonna get the best performance from it .... I mean going up hills you will go much faster if you pedal ...

I think the keys just lock the battery in place. I don't think it turns it on. Maybe though

Mike do you have to pedal at all? Does pedaling help it charge?
@TheBostonTrucker2 ай бұрын
You don't have to pedal for the first 46 miles.

After 46 miles the battery is gonzo?
@JamesJenkins-n4f2 ай бұрын
@@MrSizewise when you peddle it will assist the bike in gaining speed and making it up hills... ECT the bike will only make it 46 miles if you are assisting the bike with pedaling. From my understanding

@@MrSizewise your welcome .. I have watched all the reviews on this bike... There is like ten or so of them. It's a new model released earlier this year .. seems like a solid build probably a copy of other models like the Ghost cat but the Ghost cat is like 2x or 3x the price .. and more power than I personally need ... I am a adrenaline junkie so I starting slower lol
