Have you found any sources of custom made UPVC or vinyl windows. I have looked at the ones at Citi Hardware but there selection on sizes is very limited . Because the metal windows use steel hinges, and all other hardware on them plus the windows themsleves being steel they just rust too quickly. The house we rent has I think the exact same metal windows and they are just a few years old, but none of the latches work, in the entire house because they are all so rusted and the hinges barely let the windows move. Ive sprayed oil on them but to no avail. so thinking UPVC is the way to go. As always, Thanks for your help, love your videos.

Custom made UPVC are available in Cebu. But they can't give me prices because the prices depend on size of the windows.

Always nice to see your video’s but can you also like advice the people that follow Your channel that wood is being used here as insulation ! This means wood keeps heat inside ! Very good for countries were the temperature goes below zero ! Not for a country like the philippines were you have to keep the heat out ! Another advice that you can give people is that big windows maybe bring alot of sun into the house but also heats up the house ! Wich means more AC wich means higher electricity bill ! Smaller windows are highly recommanded i would say or use black-out curtains that block the sun , tainted windows or put special UV foil on your windows . For people who build in the philippines good advice ...first spend a few hours on the land that you are going to build on ..so you can see were the sun comes up , were the sun is at it highest point when its the hottest and were it goes down and than make a plan how you will build your house ! Were your bedrooms will be etc ! Also good advice i never see insulation in the roof wich i would recommend highly coz the the sun is on the roof the whole time wich again heats up the house ! Many tips that i would give to people and hopefully you will share that with your followers , have a nice day

Marlo Van Holle. When you said wood is an insulator, the first thing I thought was, that being the case it would then insulate the inside from the heat source ie: the Sun preventing much of the heat entering the house. As for large windows, I have found that those that can afford large floor to ceiling windows and doors are not normally too concerned by the cost of the aircon. It is not my place to advise people on such matters they need to do their own due diligence but people can also read your comment and draw their own conclusions from the information given. Village People Philippines wood is being used in sauna’s because they keep the heat inside thats why i wouldn’t recommend wood alot ! But if people still do than they have to consider the fact that they need other measures to keep the heat out ! I am only trying to help not correct you don’t get me wrong ...i only do this coz u have followers and i don’t 😜

Village People Philippines i know and i understand because alot of people have no choice and i saw that on the island and when they invited me in i just felt entering a sauna so i gave them the advice to use metal roofsheets with insulation that will reduce the temperature by atleast 30%

No but when I used steel frame on my other build, I buy 1/8 thickness glass pane at 460 a sheet and have them cut it to the sizes needed on the steel frame and just install it with glass sealant.

Depends how you install it and what area in the house you install it but based on customers feedback from the store it is quite strong and durable.

It depends on how the frame has been build and the thickness of the glass ! I advice you pvc with double painted glass or steel no wood coz wood is an insulator and will heat up your house ! Its maybe the cheapest but your house will always be hot inside ...good advice as i comment above keep heat outside not inside coz your living in the philippines were its very hot and not in europe or any other country were the temp goes below zero
