Window Treatments: Quick, Cheap & Beautiful Sheers with Tension Rods

Today’s update since the move to our new home includes putting a quick privacy curtain up on our downstairs windows. Very easy to do without tools using tension rods and sheers from WalMart. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Sparkle on!

I use tension rods for a few windows. I don't have any issues with them. P.S. my old crank windows are very drafty. Look for someone who specializes in window replacement in your area if you don't have a lot of money OR buy them 1 at a time and replace them yourself.

No one here specializes in these windows and all want to just replace them, but the quotes we've gotten so far are just way too expensive. We put caulking on the outside problem areas and are waiting for the next big rain events to see if that keeps out the moisture for now. Maybe next year we can afford to begin replacement. lol. We did them ourselves in AZ, but ut was a nightmare. We paid to have Pella windows installed by Pella in TX which was very expensive, but went smoothly. Here in KY we were hoping we could get the Pella brand at Lowe's with their installers pretty inexpensively, however, they still wanted about what we spent in TX! Nope! Yikes! Waiting on a window sale! lol. Thanks for watching, sweetness!
