Let's say the current Windows 10 version you have is causing issues and the previous version caused issues as well; the version before that one then was stable. Is it possible to roll back to this stable version if say another PC still has that version's Window.old folder? In a nutshell, does rolling back to a previous Windows 10 version all depend on the Windows.old folder? Thanks for any reply and insight of these questions. Thanks again!

Yes it is that folder - if you keep it you can rollback using a few methods. But Windows will try it's best to delete that after quickly - about 10 days or so... however it can be extended a bit using: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/dism-uninstallos-command-line-options

Use this if you have tried a rollback and it was past the 10 days and a manual restore to 1709 was also not possible. You need a USB memory stick and you should backup all data you want as this method wipes the entire drive and gives a clean Windows 10 version 1709.

Can't we download the old version from here? www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx I did a clean Windows install a day ago after that the Windows 1803 update and my chrome doesn't work, my pc is laggy, sometimes game stutters… I just feel it's so slow and this lag makes it horrible. 6700k,1070gtx,16gb ram.
