When microsoft introduced windows phone it was so well organized, i still can't believe that despite phones being so big they still place search bars at the top. In WP it was at the bottom which was ahead of it's time and really comfortable and useful, so the concept should also have search bars at the bottom

I really like the concept, tbe logic really based on windows PC but adopted very well into mobile phone OS. One thing that concerns me though is how do you get back to home from apps when the bottom line isnt swipe up to go back home, but rather to pop up the start menu. Despite that, I think you are pretty amazing to even be able to make this concept.

Windows für Smartphones, so wie du es gemacht hast, hätte ich es auch gerne gemacht wenn ich solche Konzepte selbst erstellen könnte... Schon aus Windows 10 hätte man ein geiles Mobiles Betriebssystem für Smartphones machen können Die Kacheln waren einfach nur misst aus Windows 8, zumindest auf dem Hauptbildschirm. For me the most important feature for an operating system to be launched for mobile is to be able to launch the operating system's programs. This concept would be awesome if it existed. If I were to create a new Windows Phone here's what I would do to make it succeed: 1. Copilot integration 2. Xbox Integration 3. iPhone Quality hardware 4. Run all Microsoft Windows apps and games natively 5. If not make their own phones, but distribute it to Asus and put it on the ROG Phones and make powerful gaming handhelds 6. Phone Dock: Use to plug into desktop and use the phone as a hub, kind of like Samsung Dex experience. I think this would make a perfect on the go desktop. It would be like a reinvented pocket PC, and also a powerful smartphone OS

With people getting Windows 11 ported to more ARM chips with Project Renegade and others getting it to function on last gen Lumia 950 XL and HP Elite X3, all it would really take is someone spending the time writing a suite of apps to do this. Stardock replaces your start menu with Start11 and I use it to change my Taskbar functionality and use the Windows 10 start menu. Someone could modify the start menu using similar techniques leveraging the Windows API to build a custom shell that works like this. Tuned for portrait. I think Windows 11 Mobile is possible with just a little bit of effort.

In all honesty, Microsoft does need a compatible version of windows for these handheld gaming PCs. Something that can compete with SteamOS, since while SteamOS on the Steam Deck is nice and all, it still has a lot of compatibility issues, where most of the Steam library isn't even compatible with the Steam Deck, but it's fully compatible with Windows. And there are already a number of brands that make handheld gaming PCs with Windows as the OS and the number is growing , as well as affordability.
