Windows 8 Build 7850: "Setup Is"

UPDATES: * An earlier build, 7814, recently leaked and appears to have all of the same changes as this build. It dates from around 2 weeks prior to this build. * The inability for me to set wallpapers in this build appears to be because the activation timebomb has been activated. * At 8:48, this "new taskbar" is known as the Metro Horizon, and may have been intended to work in a similar manner to the "normal" taskbar. * This is the first build with touch gestures, if used on a touch-enabled device. * The Start screen opens on boot after Redpill is circumvented, which would be the case for all future builds of Windows 8.

Also, fun fact: while in Windows 8 build 7850, choosing the Classic theme option shows a very basic version of Aero Lite, in its Windows Server 2012 counterpart, Windows Classic works as intended.

I think the thing is that DWM was always on, even this early into the Windows 8 development, so the themes that weren't supposed to use DWM also used it, hence why Windows Basic looks very similar to regular Aero, while Windows Classic seems completely replaced by Aero Lite (which ironically would be called "Windows Basic" in Server 2012)

Setup is... starting and lead to a design UI conflict that's still not resolved. Touch-oriented Metro UI is good for touch-enabled PCs, but is garbage for a desktop user. They still can't find the golden middle.

@@GumSkyloard It may just be because I've gotten used to it, but most of Windows 10 is pretty good, aside from obvious touch-focused elements such as the homepage of the modern Settings app, and most desktop applications are clearly designed for mouse use (a problem plaguing Tablet PCs since the days of XP Tablet PC Edition). And yet, in an era where Apple has added mouse support to iOS, as most things you'd want a tablet/computer for require a proper keyboard, and it's not that much more to put a trackpad on a keyboard cover as well, Microsoft insists on pushing touch-heavy UI where it really doesn't make sense with Windows 11, pushing against the current of Windows software, and the rest of the industry.

Hey! I Found Something In Windows 8 Build 7850! The On-screen keyboard app seems to have slightly changed,You can now see frames in the on screen keyboard window even with the aero theme on and also,The buttons no longer have rounded corners on them!
