I have added the two lines of code in the cmd succesfullt but in the step afterwards in "services" I do not have "Windows Mobile + anything" I have had the program working before but now suddenly when its opened it just says device is not connected when its connected. Hello, I was having the same problem, I couldn't find anything under "Windows Mobile + anything", but my windows system language is not english (its czech) and later i discovered that if you don't have english as your system language, your services names can be different. My "equvivalent" (czech language) was "something + Windows Mobile". I recommend searching for keyword Mobile/Mobile 2003. It might take few minutes to browse through all the services but it was the solution for me. Hope this helps

Hi, just search your missing DLL file on this website: www.dll-files.com/ then download Zip file, extract it and paste into the: C:\Windows\System32, for 64-bit version is C:\Windows\syswow64 so it's better to make copies into both folders, that's should fix your problem, please, let me know if you find it helpful. @@adventc No worries, just try to reinstall Microsoft net framework and check from CPanel Programs and Features if Microsoft visual c++ 2008 -13 or 15 are installed if any of them missing try to install that and restart your PC after each operation, hope you find it helpful, thanks.

just curious? what devices are everyone trying to connect to their pcs? for me its an old touch pro 2. also, tonight i decided to get back into my old windows mobile devices to see if i could do anything with them still and it seems all the old sites i went to are gone. surely there are some hardcore users out there somewhere....are we the only ones left still messing with this old stuff? my old touch pro 2 phone is only 9 years old lol. its not like its 30 years old. sure since then we have 7, 8 and now 10 but come on...

Hi, try to restart your computer. Did you install WMDC as I did in the video, if not just reinstall it with PC restart, if not just skip this step should be ok. Anyway if your WMDC works just leave it.

I found that when I start Windoms Mobile I have a service running in Task Manager "details" and it is called "wmdc.exe" .... but nothing in "services" ......
