You are so very welcome! I apologize in advance for rambling on here, but you seem to be a beautiful person both inside and out, and it may be due in large part to your help that I finally start a KZbin channel. The channel will be on another account under a different name, but the important part would be that I could not have done it without your help. I need to start small with the free tools that are available to me, like Windows Live Movie Maker. The problem was that I know I am of at least average intelligence, but Movie Maker was making me feel stupid and incompetent. You have saved me from the despair induced by those feelings. I don't mean to take up any more of your time or to keep ping-ponging replies back and forth, so I will just restate in conclusion: May you be blessed in turn for how much you have blessed me!

Thank you so much for this video, it is the very best tutorial I have seen on any video editing software. I have just one query which is, at the end of your tutorial you say that the original source of the video, in my case an SD card, should be used when revisiting Windows Live Music Maker? Does this mean that even though I have saved my original video on the computer, I would still need the SD card to do more editing? Wouldn’t the Movie Maker work with my original video saved in a folder on my computer? Thank you again for a comprehensive and clear tutorial.

On other videos they point and click things so fast you can't see what they're really doing. You were very thorough which is also important. I'm giving this a like so I can easily find it and watch it again or even a few more times if I forget parts. This will really help me make my vacation movies more interesting and fun to watch. I am using Movie Maker 2012 (Build 16.3528.0331) on Windows 7. My Movie Maker is forcing whole numbers. I enter a duration of 0.6 and it becomes 0. A duration of 1.2 becomes 1. Any number I enter automatically drops to the lower whole number. It's like the decimal is just being ignored. I really need the duration in decimals for my videos can someone tell me how do I solve this problem?
@Oleg__7 жыл бұрын
Hello, I just found your video, and I'm going to watch it a bit later. But I have one question, for sure you didn't explain it in the video. When you add audiotrack to your video, synchronise it, and then mute original audio track from videocamera, and then when you export your video, that muted audio track is still there? In other video editors you can completely delete original audio track from the final video, which is good, because that muted audio track doesn't occupy extra space and generally it shouldn't be present in the final video file.
