Windows Server: How to Update the Central Store

In summary, the central store is used to sync all of your group policy objects and admin templates (admx files) across all of your domain controllers. When you select the replace option and it replaces all the same named admx files, does new admx configuration go back to default setting? If no, please explain 😊

It should not go back to default. In the SYSVOL you will see several folders with XML files in them. I believe those are the changes that are made. Im not in front of a computer to confirm so it maybe best to do some further research. Having a lab environment to test is helpful and I highly recommend testing in a lab environment before applying to production.
