I bought a low budget laptop 5 years ago every year I used to change my os from win7 to 8 and 8to 10 to Linux Ubuntu and then to mint then to lubuntu then finally to kali and I can proudly say that linux is far more the best for compared to windows Linux needs less hardware capabilities and also linux is your linux it's not like windows you do what you want with linux ..👍 Thanks for reading may God bless you

Has been windows user since windows 98...all was good untill Windows vista which was slow as hell..thankfully they improved with windows 7. Everything was working fine till they took away the option of disabling updates in windows 10 as it keeps slowing the pc. Tried Linux and installed it in dual boot mode around 2 years back, fell in love with the control and performance it offered...my laptop was suddenly like brand new again and have been using it since... now i only use windows for certain softwares not available in Linux otherwise i don't even like booting up windows 10. Simply install gedit and use it for writing codes. Compile the codes in terminal and run it in terminal itself....if need help feel free to contact!!

@@anurag-pathak10 use this command to compile the code:(considering that the name of file is test.cpp) g++ test.cpp -o test (-o is used for setting the name of output file as test.....If you will not write it...means if u will use the command 'g++ test.cpp' then it will name the output file as 'a' by default) Now for running the code...simply type the command: ./test.out (or ./a.out if u have not named the output file urself) Note:...you need to be in the directory where you have saved files for using above commands...else enter the name of file with its complete address.

I use all 3 os - windows , linux(kali) , mac os , on same laptop , dell. I mostly use windows.....as i am currently learning python , mysql and django . After windows , i use kali linux for testing and ethical hacking . @@kmannnish Yes you can,for that you need to download windows iso filr from the microsoft website. Now, let me warn you though. It can be a little challenging to make BIOS/UEFI bootable flash drive in linux. So my advice would be to make sure you have an extra pc with windows on it. So that you can make your bootable flash drive there

Mac - expensive but promising. you can find it little difficult to work on the new machine if you are coming from windows but you will get comfortable using it in few weeks linux - budget friendly and has a very good performance and in most cases even better then both windows and Mac but It can be very complex sometimes to start working on the linux windows - if you are looking for the budget friendly machine and the machine which can do almost any to every thing like gaming, video editing, developing the code then this is a great machine and this machine is more focused on GUI so you will enjoy the graphics which is sometimes not there in some distros of linux personally I have used all three of them and I prefer Mac and linux because once you learn to navigate through these os then you will find it really very good and easy to navigate through their file system and it become almost very easy to navigate in the linux which I find is not so in the case of windows because while installing any new software on windows you have to search so many files and so many folders to look for the right folder but this thing is much easier in Mac and linux hope this really help you

lol agar tune koi software install kiya hai windows mai aur tughe agar uske location mai jana hai to right click se ho jata hai koi file dhundne ki jarurat nahi padhti windows jab se launch hua hai tabh se chala reha hu ajtak koi virus aur problem nahi ayee hai mughe, harr os ke limitation hote hai koi ek dusre se acha nahi hota hai its depend on you usages

Agreed , I've used all 3 and windows is easily the worst compared to the other 2. Unix based OS's are far superior to windows in almost everything outside of gaming, video/photo editing, etc. Though that mostly only because of lack of support from the developers.
