There's one argument I would have for keeping the Paige out of the court: The Paiges are associated with the Fool. And like the Fool they are somewhat outside the journey too. If we look at a regular playing card deck, there is no Paige card, but instead we have the Joker... who is also a... Fool. The Joker might be in the court, but not part of it. If you use Jokers in your card games, they often have special rules, not unlike the Ace. Sometimes a Joker is a good thing, other time a bad thing, depending on the game. Much like how the Ace is the 1 card, but almost always the card with the highest value.

I find that the method in which kings are fixed, queens are cardinal, and knights are mutable works best for me. This was the method I was first taught and the significations of the correlating zodiacal signs match up fairly well. And it’s mostly about the energies they carry, rather than strict categories of which sign is which. I’ll look at elemental dignity first, and if I need more information I’ll consider their attributed zodiac sign. It can help to recognize it when you suddenly have a lot of Libra energy present in a reading and there sits the queen of swords to help emphasize that particular sign for example.

Great videos! Like you said, everyone reads differently; I read pages as the three venus signs consolidated. e.g; page of cups, you may be dealing with someone with one of these placements or exhibiting these placements. Kings (for me) are fixed. Queens cardinal and knights mutable. Thanks again!

This is great, but I would have preferred you stick to discussing what you believe they are at opposed to what they are not, ex. Kings - Cardinal, Queens - Fixed, Knights - Mutable. Bringing up all these theories and why they do not work, for me, just made it more confusing.

I didn't find enything better then your video to learn tarots... Anyway here I would have swich pages and kings element an dthen make a mix up with the two methods you teached. So that I'll made all pages air and all kings earth. Then pages mutable, knights cardinal and kings and queen both fixed but one with yin energy and the other yang energy.

The card is very difficult for the bigner to understand what the card was saying about but if you have the wisdom you will understand it so easily because my universes will directed you to understand what it means about you. The card is telling you the exactly direction that you will follow.

I don't know if anyone thinks like me, but I would say, -at least from my opinion-, that kings are more earthy (structured, mature, disciplined, realiable...) and pages are more airy (curious, in movement, younger...)

Thank you for the video and your thoughts on that. I find it difficult to relate some astro significarions to the pictures. Perhaps in contemporary world some new system would reflect things more or maybe it is just I need to get used to it and learn more. Even for major arcana, having Saturn as the (boundless) world does not make sense. Saturn is rathee like a judgement card or hierophant perhaps. Chariot cannot be cancer! And a few other things like that.
