WINDRIDER (Soul Train Edition)

G'day friends,
I just came back from a windsurfing trip to Western Australia & got some clips at Coronation Beach. Didn't get as much good footage as I wanted so decided to mix in parts from the classic Australian movie 'Windrider'.
After 4 days of editing from 8am to 3am without hardly a break may I present you something I'm pretty stoked with...enjoy!

Super rad break from studying! I played Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat 1 at a friends fathers shop for hours on end. It would just eat up our coins. Good times. 02:15 that chap has an epic stalled forward. Great edit.

Nice job on the edit :-) ! Pretty classic stuff for us West Aussies that were a part of the Wave Sailing crew that learnt with square teak booms and no battern sails in the early 80's in WA and were also a part of the making of Windrider, 35+ years ago, when most of you probably weren't even born yet ! LOL ! I did a surf salom event called the Fremantle Surf Shop Dash & Crash which involved running up the beach to your gear and then sailing broad reaching zig-zag down wind to the finish line on the beach where you started the run. There was individual race and a teams of 4 event over the same course. Teams were randomly drawn and it was a tag team relay. Lots of fun, no money involved, just all the wave sailing crew from the beaches at the time. So many laughs with a keg and barby. Good times. I filmed the event and that is the beach footage that you see in the climax of the film at the surf contest. We did the event at Port Beach in North Fremantle. Cheers :-)

Thanks Arne, glad you like the video mate. Yeah the aerobic vid I took off.... wasn't happy with how KZbin made the timing of the video and music go weird. I'm a bit of a perfectionist with that kind fo stuff ha ha. Joost van Bellen is a like a 2nd cousin to me. Never actually met him before but have heard from family members he's a pretty famous DJ.

Hey mate, when choosing songs I usually have a look on KZbin and see if anyone has posted the song under their own account. That usually gives me enough confidence that I can use the song without too many problems. I often get emails from the copyright holders telling me the videos will be monetised to them and that I can't make any money off the videos. Because my views aren't in the millions it's fine with me!
