Enjoyed your video. From 2001 to 2004, we made 30 trips to Windrock from Michigan. I put over 8000 miles on my atvs. We learned a certain style here in Michigan that does not do well down in the mountains.. either in Windrock or Hatfield in WV.. spent a lot of time there too. I heard a guy talk about putting his foot down to get over an obstacle. IMO, never do that.. ever. Not on an atv... another thing is momentum is your friend. There are places where going slow to get over something will get you hurt or killed. I rode every trail in Windrock and many up to 50 miles from the parking lot, on my 2 wheel drive Predator. A blip of your throttle is your best friend. Not being critical, just some friendly advice. I did enjoy seeing you ride around the place, it brings back many memories.

Another great video!! I must say that Mrs. Kay was never a bad rider but I think over the last year or so I've been watching she has really gotten more confident and can ride with the best of them! Great job!! WindRock is no place for the inexperienced!! Looking forward to the next one!!

If you haven’t figured it out yet about the water it’s coal coming out of mines and bring iron into the water making it orange. But this makes me want to go ride at windrock!

KC- first off the headsets are great. I recognize the prompts as a Sena headset. When I sold the bikes and all the gear the Sena is one thing I kept. Second off, when are you coming back to ride windrock again? I go up here at least once or twice a month. One of the most diverse trail systems you can find!! Going to ride royal blue soon!

Hey KC, Man I’m not sure when we’ll be able to make it back that way? The company I was with sold out last year, so I had to change jobs now vacation time is limited. We also want to run the royal blue trail system! We love the trails in that area like you said such a diverse trail system. Hey buddy!, For some reason I missed this comment. Does that ever happened to you? Nope we never did go down and look at the plaque and see what it said. (Sorry). Yeah those trails were rough for sure! Gets even worse in the next video. The coms we are using is the Sena Bluetooth communicators from Sena.com Four of us have the 30K units and two of us have 20s units. I know what you mean trying to get caught up on videos. KC ATV World I miss comments more often now than I’d like to. I’m trying not to use the old studio so I am comfortable with the studio beta once KZbin kills the old version. Going into comments and checking for anything I haven’t responded to or requires a follow up response. Hopefully they make that easier so we aren’t losing comments. Going to have to check out the senas then! Wish GoPro would just get their $hit together and make their own Bluetooth system. Lol. Going to have to take to google to find out what that plaque says. Going to drive me nuts not knowing something. Hahaha. I honestly don’t take any offense if a fellow KZbinr doesn’t respond or misses a response. Knowing first hand just how time consuming all of this actually is. Combined with “life”, repairs, and preparations for the next ride. I have had a few “thanks for not responding” messages from people. What can you do? 💁🏻‍♂️. Thanks for the information on the Senas as well!

Brian Hammond .. The grizzly does have automatic engine braking, doesn’t matter whether in low and high. You just let off the throttle and it always engages engine braking. Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!

Hey, Scoot.. This place is fun but it’s a lot more rough and rocky compared to Hatfield McCoy. Don’t get me wrong we had a blast there at Windrock but it’s hard to beat the well maintained trails at Hatfield McCoy. Thanks for watching always appreciated!!

The units we had were actually 10S units. Which are very similar to the 20s units. I don’t have them anymore sorry they’re sold long time ago. but yes those units work fine if you’re only going to have 4 riders. The only issue is when you want to add more riders you will have to buy new units. 4 is the max for those.

Hey Kevin, It’s a etrex 20 from Garman. It’s a trail GPS that makes a track of where we ride. I really like it not to expensive and does a great job. You can check them out online. Thanks for watching!
