This is who we are. This is what we do. This is OUR lifestyle and we enjoy it. It's time we as hunters stop making excuses for who we are and what we do. The time has come to tell anti-hunters who will "never" understand what we do and why we do it, no matter how we waste our breath trying to explain it to go pound sand. We don't tell them how to live their life, so why on God's green earth are we making excuses (like we need them) to enjoy our lifestyle to people who don't dictate what we do????? Wild dog isn’t a bad meal, and that’s from personal experience. When we were in Afghanistan, a part of our nation-building mission, was to connect with the indigenous population in order to build trust; so we could show them we were there to help them. We were ‘assigned’ a family. We had to live with them, eat with them, and even sleep in the same dwelling. We would sit down for chow, and you had to eat what was put in front of you; it would be seen as disrespect if you didn’t partake in it. We had dog a few times, and to be honest with you, it wasn’t bad. Maybe I was hungry, maybe I was happy to have a ‘home cooked’ meal, but it wasn’t bad. That being said, I never let my guard down and was always ready to fight my way out….half the time, I was afraid one of those A-holes would pull the pin on a grenade. Lastly, I learned to never trust a member of ‘the religion of peace’.

@@nightcrew3115 - Answer to your question... I was in Asia and the big dog bit one of the little kids. They killed him, cleaned all the hair off, stuffed him with onions garlics and tomatoes, and put him in the pig smoker. He was good. THey know how to make all the bad dogs good with BBQ sauce and gravy. I had some and yes he was good for sure. So yes... I would try a Coyote. I've eaten a lot of others stuff. There is some things that are gross. Chinese guy told me that animals kind of taste like their urine smells. Dogs are good but cats are nasty. He said only crazy people eat cats and scavengers. I hunt here in the UK and whilst there may be a good 'reason' why I am shooting foxes around the Phesant pen... the true and driving reason for my hunting is that I enjoy it... and as a hunter you shouldn't be afraid to say so. Hunting is a base instinct and there's nothing wrong with it. Everything on this green earth exists at the expense of some other living thing. If you eat vegetables, then those are grown on farmed land that was once wild, what survived there is now gone... that's nature... we are animals just the same, we just happen to be at the top of the food chain. As you said, there is no need for us to try this exercise in futility to explain ourselves to someone who has no interest in finding a middle ground. That being said, it is critically important for us to try to understand WHY there has been such a concerted movement against all things hunting and all things firearms related. Separate initiatives, seemingly unrelated, come together as elements of a much larger, extremely well-funded effort to take it all from us and to render us helpless against a forceful takeover by the power hungry folks who have been pulling everyone's strings for decades. Divide and conquer, and strip away freedoms one layer at a time. Pit one faction of people against another. Make people afraid of being called a certain word (gun nut--oooo scary! "I'm not one of those gun nuts." "I support the 2A, BUT..."). Restrict resources (the massive effort to eliminate lead in bullets ring a bell?). Introduce apex predators to areas to decimate entire herds of wildlife and have federal judges shut down ESA removals on wildlife that are well beyond objectives so hunter numbers dwindle and their voice may then be more easily drowned out by the radical left. The big shots in this elaborate scheme don't care about hunting. They care about the long game strategy to unravel our rope one strand at a time until it cannot bear even the smallest bit of a load. Great video that is desperately needed with all the wars being waged against us! People need to know what is going on around them and not get tunnel vision and think that tomorrow will look the same as today while the enemy of freedom is playing their next card.

We have huge packs of coyotes that move up and down the river behind our property at night only. I don't have the funds to buy night vision gear so how do I get them moving around during the day time? We have tried to use electric calls, guts from a deer we harvested, and we made sure the wind was right and everything!!! Any advise??? Thanks

Not trying to start any arguments here, but I'm gonna be honest. I am a Leftist (not Liberal) but I am not anti-gun but not necessarily pro-gun. I believe getting a firearm should have a longer process so the real people who need them can use them. I am also not anti-hunting. Thank you for putting this video out. All you say is so true. I coyote hunt because I love it. It’s fun. To game hunt I would have to go out of state or drive 6 to 8 hours up north and that cost a lot of money. Unfortunately I live in the largest communist state in our country. I am very lucky because I met a small ranch owner and they do have a coyote problem. Fortunately it is only a 30 minute drive during non traffic time, but you can only do so much on one small ranch. If I only had 3 more like it then I would have plenty to keep me busy. Their neighbors on both sides also have cattle but are afraid to give me written permission, which is required in this state. All the public land here is fenced in with signs stating county or state park no trespassing. Imagine that, a park on public land which is maintained by tax payers is posted no trespassing. Well I guess that’s a whole other conversation by itself. I do visit 2 other states regularly every year. When I go it’s feels like I am a free man. I never want to go back home. Well maybe this summer I will get lucky when I go. I am getting together with a realtor. If it works out I will take my family and money to a free state. Please keep these videos coming. if people would bother to understand the biology of animals like coyotes, hogs, deer, or any other game in north america that has a high breeding population they would see that doing what you guys do 1. Likely wont even impact the population in the area 2. If it does impact the population then those that are left will have a better quality of life Predator hunting is so far from bad or abusive. I doubt that you'll see this comment but I want to ask a question, if anybody else would like to answer feel free to do so. I've been hunting coyotes with my uncle since I was like 4. We've always used the same old light that uses a car battery connected to the alternator on the truck. Well I'm 18 now and I'm about to build my own truck rig and start taking others that haven't ever been coyote hunting before. Anyways I'm thinking of investing in a Wicked Scanpro gen 2. I don't use thermal like you guys because the contests I plan to enter mostly don't allow it. But to get to my question, do you think that I could use the Scanpro as a standalone light? If not what are some recommendations of a handheld light that I could use as a standalone light? I have a budget of ~$200 give or take. Don't want to have to do the same wiring that my uncle did for his rig.
