"Winds Will Blow"
Winds will blow the same on every road
Winds whistle in the sunshine and the rain
Our lot is but to bear it and walk on
Our lot is but to walk that trail again
Our lot is but to walk, and when we're gone
Winds will blow the same on every road
Then maybe when the short straw has been drawn
The end comes in our final episode
Our lot is but to walk that trail again
Perhaps in time we'll learn to break the code
Perhaps in time we'll cease to feel the strain
And if the wind will never be begone
Maybe there will be more that will remain
The sun that shines on me on you has shone
Perhaps you'll share again this windy road?
Whatever loves we had that were withdrawn
Maybe more have yet to be bestowed
Perhaps our lot's to walk that trail again?
Winds will blow the same on every road.
Our lot is but to bear it and walk on.
Together we can walk that trail again,
Our road where wind will blow and sun once shone.
