WindSeeker Official On-Ride POV

WindSeeker is the second tallest ride at Carowinds. The three-minute ride begins when the carriage slowly rotates while climbing to the top of the 301-foot tower. Riders will experience a sense of weightlessness as the swings reach speeds up to 30 mph, and the arms extend outward at a 45-degree angle, giving an astonishing panoramic view of the park and the greater Charlotte region.

Why do the swings not move out more on this one? I did hear at one point this windseeker had a lot of mechanical issues.

I’ve ridden it, it’s not designed to be like other swings with high speed and thrill, it’s more for the view so it moves slower and in turn has less outward force
