I am thinking of moving to Windsor when I have to go back to Canada (or Montreal) still deciding. But certainly I'm not going to move back to Toronto. I still don''t know if I will end up living in Canada but the only thing is that I will probably have to get a drivers license to live around Windsor (or at least it would be ideal) luckily I WFH.

hey thanks for the information. I currently live in Pickering. Looking to eventually buy a house. i was thinking about st. catherines because I did't want to be too far from ajax because of family. My wife said a friend is thinking of moving to windsor. How much cheaper is windor compared to st. catherines.

The average price of a home in Niagara / st Catherine’s region last month was 679k. In Windsor it’s 535k. Windsor sells significantly cheaper than the niagara region right now. Creastats.crea.ca has statistics by region

It’s an affordable entry into property ownership and will rent easy if your looking for tenant. Although I think the pool has been “closed for maintenance “ since about 1994 lol

It only makes sense if you believe the market will rise while your renovating. There’s no cheap “deals” …. But if you Reno over 6 -12 months your adding value plus the market increases

I think city proper is around 230k. The towns are growing at a faster rate. The region as a whole is 420k+

the twined the bridge in Sarnia all it meant was the truck traffic there increased to insane and the fume to residents are brutal some days . I've always though Windsor should take of but end of the day it never seems to hope your right but its a lot to bet on. good video though.

This new bridge will divert the traffic away from the city and the residents will use the bridge and tunnel instead. Should keep and fumes away

@@ryancrits8180 hopefully but the second bridge in Sarnia was to do the same but US customs is slow and the lines are miles long all blowing exhaust. My friend moved from the road beside the hwy due to the vibration and fumes from the trucks as they were unbearable. So good luck

The Gordie Howe bridge is a major deal for sure. About the only good thing Stephen Harper did in his time as PM. So essentially you are saying there is a boom time coming in Windsor starting in 2026/2027 and should last for 10 years. So to hell with high interest rates buy buy buy! Nope, the next 2 years are going to be grim I'm afraid. But better times ahead for sure.

No sir. The article said this year 2023 Windsor will lead the country in economic growth. Not in 2026. Also - prices have been booming again this year. An Increase each month do the year so far. Lots of jobs and opportunities now and in the future for windor
