You can roll it up. Just remove the battens from the pockets (the yellow lines at the back of the sail which you called mainstays), and then the sail will roll neatly around the mast.

Dear Katie, , I have a very special question for you, I am wondering whether you can help me. I am from Hungary, Europe and I have just bought a Hi Fly 300 CS corona speed in Hungary. This is my 2nd windsurf and the system of the powerjoint is very different from the system of my other windsurf. (This one is not a pinned powerjoint.) Therefore I am not able to adjust the powerjoint to the mast. I know this is a very-very special request but would you be so kind to very shortly describe how I can adjust the powerjoint to the mast.
