I want to buy the Gecko 105. Can you recommend the Gecko (2013)?

It depends on many things, weight, wind, your level and water conditions. I am nobody but in my opinion Gecko is an excellent pure freeride if you want to learn and progress. Here are 20-22 knots, 6.2m sail, weight 78kg but the board was at the limit. For me if you go in flat water with wind around 12-16 kn and you want to progress, go on the Gecko; (the volume you choose based on weight) If the wind exceeds 16-17 kn in unprotected area, and you hazard to level up, i recommend a freestylewave as a second board (fanatic freewave or similar). From 16-17 kn i normally use a 115 liter fsw. ALOHA!

Okay cool, Thanks for your opinion! Yeah I want the Gecko for learning moves like the carve jibe, carve tack, carving 360. but mainly for getting into the footstraps. My light Wind Board is Tabou Speedster 149. its a Great board, but the footstrap Position is Not That good for learning to get into the footstraps haha 🤙
