Fucking AWSOME video! Great racing! Love the outside line the Sukuki guy takes at 3;07 heading over a jump for the over take into the inside of the next corner. Great stuff. 2 strokes are just fun! I absolutely love them. I started on 4 strokes a long time ago, went to two strokes, back to 4 strokes when Yamaha released there 400, now back on 2 strokes just for the fun and the buzz. Predictable power, controllable, always there when you want it. Just love them.

That RM has plenty more in it. Watch 3:04 to 3:40. On the straights it can reel in the 125 fast, and does, with its monster mid pull. The RM pilot is being more conservative with the corner exits also, and picking more high lines into and through the curves. He's probably trying not to bump out and wheel bang the KTM on this friendly run in the tighter turns, where he could've cut inside him a few times and roosted past, but would've made some contact or hairy moments.

@kowclubproductions honestly it depends on what your wanting to do with dirt bikes.if ur wanting to RACE then sell it and get 2 stroke.if not just keep ur 4 stroke.cause 2 strokes are ment to be raced.so if ur the guy who likes to just cruise around and stuff keep ur 4 stroke, cause a stroke u always got to rev it all the time when ur cruising or something cause otherwise you will foul out ur plug and it wont run till u get a new one. but if u want to race ur not going to be cruising lol.

@MOOSERVERTE I disagree. The 125's are a much lighter machine and thus easier to control at speed. Motocross.... It's about the speed at which you go over obstacles.... not necessarily the amount of power you have while doing it.

@futureunknown no, i first got my bike and bogged it several times not knowing i had to have it reved up. if u keep bogging it and reving it you WILL foul out your plugs. i dont care what you say. cause that happened to me. i fouled it out first time i rode it. cause i didnt keep it reved up when i wasnt on the throttle. but in first gear thats really only time you don't have to keep reving it.

i rode quads for 15 years and then my family had to sell them. so i bought myself an rm 125 and my friend thought he would have fun messing with me on the track. it was my first bike and first time really riding it. so when we got on the track he thought he was absolutely dominating me but i kept up pretty well... he had been riding bikes longer and he thought he was the shit because he beat a guy that was on his first bike and riding it for the first time...

It really depends on how hard the rider rides the bike. The guy who had the 125 was haulen ass even though his bike was a little less powerful.

the amount of power the 250 puts out compared to the 125 is different but the 125 is way lighter, i've never ridden a 250 but i've raced a couple and it depends on the rider anyway

I think both 2 stroke and 4 stroke are good, because 2 stroke have more power but need alot of maintain, but 4 stroke have less power but you can go for very long ride and have less repair to do, so if you are not a mechanic you should buy a 4 stroke, if you are one well buy a 2 stroke. but 2 stroke are nicer to ride

@bassist004 No, they arent. Im a CR freak but the RM would be my very next choice (yes I know, Yamaha is supposed to be the "dopest" offroad...). Why would you think its crap? If you've ridden a dirtbike you could see that he's barely revving the RM, he was the one w/ the camera he cant be in front!

@lucc658 It's really you're opinion but I would say rm250, even though I ride a Crf250r...Suzuki makes better two strokes than Honda and Honda stopped making them. Idk if Suzuki stopped too but Yamaha didn't. You could always go buy a brand new 2010 Yz250..

A 125 2 stroke will probably be a little bit tall for you depending on how much you weigh. Im 5' 7" and I weigh just over 200 lbs and I just barely am able to straddle my bike with my toes touching the ground. The 125 and the 250 have about the same seat height. So you may struggle a little bit with the seat height. As for the power of the bike thats all about you. Just because you have lots of power doesnt mean you have to use all of it. You may want to concider an 80 or 85

when buying used bike you can not get hung up on extras , you have to take this bike as if it had all stock parts and then offer a price that you would pay , for the stock bike , just because someone has spent money on the bike, does not mean it goes up in value , unless, its like a pros bike with $50 000 forks etc... in aust - yz is Price when new (RRP) $8,399 Trade in price guide $1,400 - $1,600 Private price guide $2,100 - $2,500

um well we pulled it apart to check a leak and we found a broken bolt letting oil leak we fixed it but theres still oil leaking but not as bad so now its going back to to j-b weld stuff! ------------update on it i started it and it ran fine! ^.^

its pretty much down to plain old cc's the amount of torque too. And fuel consumption. This guy didn't look like he was punching it. The 125's are a bit harder to wheelie on, because there isn't enough 'umph.' The 250's are easy, you just punch it and the front tire lifts off.

i have an rm125, and 250 2t's and 125 2t's are the same until like 4th gear, and in racing you dont really get up to 4th very much so..... but the song is, blink 182 - man overboard and its a good vid

the ktm would be better quality, however they are big bucks to maintain, you will also find the 105 a little slow , i mean i would , you might not , since it is a 2t you would be safe with the 1o5 , power snappy... but if there was a newer yz i would go yz ...more power, and cheaper to maintain

Nice bikes and video lads. Im a rm125 rider changin up to 250 but im stickin with 2 -stroke machine. Torn between KTM and an RM ? Ktm's just an animal but i feel unfaithful to suzuki after winnin on it for so long. Suzuki r home to me. And nobody rides suzuki out here in ireland.. So KTM or Suzuki lads?? change or keep to what i know
