Hi so I am having issues with measuring my wax to make 5 candles how much wax would I need to measure out

Good morning. I'm not sure what vessel you are using so I will tell you how I measure what I need when I am trying out vessels I haven't used before. I put the vessel on the scale and tare so you are starting at 0. Then I fill with water to the point I would want my wax to stop. That gives me the water weight. Since wax weighs less than water we multiply the weight measurement by .86 and that will let us know how much wax we need for the vessel. Example. Water Weight 10.5oz x .86oz = 9.03 oz So you would need 9.03oz of wax for the 1 container. Then just multiply that by the number of containers you want to fill. Hope that helps! Trish
