Thanks! Unfortunately, mine is scattered around town among 4-5 different solutions at the moment. The primary cellar at home has boxes on the floor stacked up to my neck so its not so photogenic at the moment. 😂

What an absolute treat to get a glimpse into such a well-curated and brilliantly designed cellar! I appreciate the insights share - building a wine cellar is truly an art and a journey, and it’s fascinating to hear the lessons learned along the way. Ned’s selection of cellar defenders and collectible gems speaks volumes about his expertise and passion for wine. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of some of his trophy wines and cellar defenders! Thank you for creating this excellent interview video and sharing such an awesome peek behind the scenes - your discussions always elevate the wine conversation! Thank you both and congratulations on this superb interview and must-watch video. Cheers, John!

Not sure if I could imagine expanding my modest collection to the extent of a fancy Wine Cellar, but it was fascinating learning about Mr. Jones' collecting journey. He sounds like a neato person... not surprisingly, I suppose since he is one of your friends.🥂 Please keep these format of videos coming!👏👏

Great wine cellar and thanks for letting us see it. I see that you also have a bottle of Louis XIII cognac in it. I like this cognac, though I haven’t had some in quite some years. I’ve been buying some older Armagnac’s that I also enjoy. Anywho, a very nice collection to have, and for wine lovers to aspire to.

That is a beautiful wine cellar. Thank your friend for sharing. Some nice bottles, the 2003 Cos looks delicious. How did the Shafer taste??
@AttorneySomm2 күн бұрын
@@jamesnordbeck382 Thank you, James! We ended up opening the 96 as well as the 04! Both are in a great place now, but I had a slight preference for the 96. Always so fun and festive to enjoy the large formats!

Agree with him that South African wines are under-rated. Last year, we toured the Waterford Estate. They make some lovely wines. Their estate Carbernet is wonderful. The Jem is a wild blend of 8 different grape varietals.

Those fancy american cellars always amaze me. When we europeans say "cellar" it's always a little damp dark underground space with plain storage shelves and piles of wooden cases 😂
@AttorneySomm3 күн бұрын
@@niftyorca Ha! Yes, very true. 😂 Sadly at least in Texas, we don’t have underground spaces.

Up in the northern states our cellars are about the same as you Europeans. Many times they are old root cellars.
