Gary, my sister put me on to you 3-4 months ago. Watched all your GVee vids since then. Now checking you out here. My wife and I are weekend drinkers. I'm 60% bourbon, 20% beer, 20% wine but we like to taste different wines. About 2 years ago we came across Marissou Pinot Noir and it's our "go to". We've tasted $100 bottles but prefer this $7-$15 bottle over everything we've tried so far. Any suggestions to try along these lines you think we may like? Thanks. Go Dolphins!

Thanks so much for this Gary. I owe a debt of gratitude to you in a rather unusual way. About four years ago I took over a large organization (about 1100 people) that was in an extremely poor state of performance and morale. Among other changes, I began a bi-weekly video blog to connect to the organization that was HEAVILY influenced by you and your WLTV blogs which I watched religiously back in the day. Those videos were a catalyst for a renaissance within the organization and we now are back on our feet and performing marvelously once again. Thanks for your influence on my life.

QOTD: Mano a Mano 2013 Tempranillo. Gary, you described the '07 or '08 as "burn fan motor and black pepper" and I went on a hunt for it. I'd been watching you since episode 4 or 5, but never could find the wines you reviewed. So this time I had to make the effort. Fell in love with it and with Spanish reds in general. Ended up buying two cases to drink one bottle a month as I finished up my Master's degree. I've always kept an eye out for Mano a Mano since then. Couple of weeks ago I saw it at a store here in Texas (where I'm working on my PhD). Bought half a case on the spot. It hasn't missed a beat. Neither have you, sir, telling it like it is. :)

Hi Gary. I didnt saw every of your videos.I just found you month ago. At first, I would like to say, I am enjoying your wine tasting. But, what I always see is that even if you taste wines from all over the world, it is always the same country. USA, New Zeland, Italy, Spain, Australia, France... Is it possible to give a chance to other countries, like Croatia, Slovakia, or Czech (Moravia mostly) wines? Or is it very hard to get those wines to you? A assume, that for example no Czech wines are for sale in US. Or very hard to get. But I think, we (I am from Czech) have some very good white and rose wines (red not so much, but there are some good). I would be happy to see you taste some of them. :-) Thanks and thumbs up for your good work! I have still like 900 videos to watch. :D

I've learned a lot and enjoyed the show. I still have my signed copy of Crush It! too. Keep up the good work! QOTD Answer: My favorite wine since I last saw you is the Maryhill Winemaker's Red. It's a red blend that's likely not going to win any awards but it's $10-15 and I can find it almost everywhere. It's just a really nice, inexpensive bottle that goes great with a variety of food and activities. Part of the reason I love it so much is that I have many great memories over the last couple years while drinking this.... vacationing with my family and friends, playing cards, bbq'ing and laughing late into the night. And MANY more.

This was great, Gary! Best wine I've had since has been the Ceretto Langhe Arneis (2014). Had it at the winery in Piemonte while studying abroad.
