Hvar is stunning! I love that you all are there in the off season and get to enjoy the scenery without all the crowds.

Great video, amazing little island! Oh btw, you missed the 3 words that describe Hvar!

Hahahaha, good catch Tomás! We took the 3 words part out of this video and the next one to see if folks cared 🙈. It felt like we didn't need both rating systems 😂😂. Might need to bring it back??

That is a STUNNING island! 😍Thank you so much for creating and sharing these videos, in the middle of running your businesses and travelling full-time! And I loooooved Caroline sharing that, after a couple of winery experiences, she was up for any adventure, LOL! You two are a treat! And a question, what would be your 3 words to describe that beauty of an island? 😉 Hugs!
@WanderingAimfully2 жыл бұрын
Awwwwww, thank you Isabel 😍❤️🥰. That is an extremely kind compliment and we are happy to be sharing content here on KZbin, especially over Instagram where we just don't feel connected to that platform right now. Plus, it's so much more fun to take time, edit, and be silly here on KZbin (for us). Hehe, 👩🏻🦰 REALLY was up for all the adventures! Mental note for me (Jason) to do wine tastings before wild things later this year 😂😂. We skipped our 3-words segment, wondering if anyone would miss it! The words we did discuss but didn't include: Picturesque, Landscapes, Sunshine 😏.

@@WanderingAimfully thank you for sharing the words Jason! It's a lot of fun watching you and Caroline play back and forth with them, and yes, we thoroughly enjoy your *completely arbitrary*, always fun, ratings and reviews. 🤗 And I'm amazed that you can answer all the questions and comments here so thoroughly. Much appreciation for the two of you! 🙏🤗

Great to see that Island. How do you film yourselves. together? Do you get someone to film for you and are you using your phone or camera?
@WanderingAimfully2 жыл бұрын
Hi Gale! We *never* hand our phone to someone else to film -- just not our style, plus we'd feel SOOO awkward 😂😂😂. In the Ballybunion vlog video we posted, there's a small section that shows the tiny tripod we use to get shots of us. It's very small and might surprise you how well it can help us capture moments of us. 100% of our filming is done on our iPhone 13s 😉.

I loved the editing on the part where you "cut out" Caroline. Also, tried the Chase Sapphire link and it didn't work for me (could just be me).

What a beautiful spot! Do you think there'd be enough to do in Hvar to stay for a few weeks? Or would you recommend a bigger city, like Split, especially in the off-season?
@WanderingAimfully2 жыл бұрын
Hi Riana! 👋👋 If you go in the higher season, there's a lot to see and do in Hvar. Also, it depends on what type of travel you enjoy? If you crave a lot of interactions, a lot of different activities, a few weeks in Hvar may be too much time. BUT, if you love slower travel, getting comfy in a small city, and enjoying doing things leisurely, I bet a few weeks in Hvar could be glorious! If we're talking off-season travel, 100% Split over Hvar for a few weeks. There just aren't enough things open in Hvar 😅😅 (but you could meet Belmin and he could take you on lots of adventures!)

some of the things that you can do on Hvar island: tour of Hvar town, visit the fortress, guided tour of the island (5-7 hours), offroad tour in a 4WD (it is Nissan Patrol not Landcruiser ;) ), wine tour, olive oil tour, hiking tour, cycling tour, kayaking, sailing, speed boat tour to the blue and green caves, rent a scooter or atv or car and tour on your own. Also from Hvar you can catch the catamaran to Korcula or Dubrovnik and do a day trip, in the summer Hvar is very well connected with the mainland. Regards, Sinisa (Secret Hvar)

Can you speak to your travel budget? Seems very expensive. Might be doable for a 2 week vacation but for a year it seems prohibitively expensive long term (for me). Hotel discount is good but curious on the monthly budget and whole trip costs.
@WanderingAimfully2 жыл бұрын
Hi Erin 👋. We have an upcoming Q&A video where we talk about some of our budget stuff. The reason we aren't sharing it in each video, is mostly because money is so subjective and we know everyone comes from different places with it. That being said, we did save up for years to be able to go on this trip and have the experiences we're sharing 😇🤗.

Do you have a link or contact information for your wine tour?
@WanderingAimfully Жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabeth 👋. We don't have a link, it was booked directly through the hotel we stayed at in Hvar (Adriana Hotel).
@lesignan Жыл бұрын
@@WanderingAimfully When you book the private tour that means that you will have a private car/van transfer to the wineries and back and you will have your own table in the winery. The shared/group tour is when you do the tour with some more people and you share the table with them. On our group tours we have max 8 people (size of the minivan). If Jason thought that he will be in the winery alone that would cost a fortune :) Thank you for touring with Secret Hvar. Sinisa
